PDF Summary is an AI-powered document summarisation service operated by NXGOAI. The service allows users to upload PDF documents and receive AI-generated summaries. By accessing or using PDF Summary, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use PDF Summary only for lawful purposes. You must not upload or process documents that:

• Contain or promote illegal content, hate speech, or material that infringes third-party rights.
• Violate any applicable law or regulation in your jurisdiction.
• Are classified or restricted documents you are not authorised to process through third-party AI systems.
• Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

3. AI Output Disclaimer

Summaries generated by PDF Summary are produced by AI models and may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or misinterpretations of the source document.

• Always review AI-generated summaries before relying on them for business, legal, medical, financial, or any other consequential decisions.
• PDF Summary does not warrant that summaries are complete, accurate, or suitable for any particular purpose.
• The service is a productivity aid, not a substitute for professional advice or thorough document review.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

PDF Summary offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. For paid plans:

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance.
• You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods, except where required by law.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

5. Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain all rights to the PDF documents you upload and the summaries generated from them. By uploading a document, you grant NXGOAI a limited, non-exclusive licence to process it solely for the purpose of providing the service.

Our platform: The PDF Summary platform, including its software, design, and branding, is the exclusive property of NXGOAI. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our written permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NXGOAI and its affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
• Loss of profits, data, business, or goodwill.
• Decisions made based on AI-generated summaries.
• Service interruptions or data loss beyond our reasonable control.

Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $100, whichever is greater.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the new terms take effect.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the jurisdiction where NXGOAI is registered.
